How did I come to MHC?

The Lord brought Becky and me to Mission Hills Church in 2005 through the invitation of the church family to come and provide new direction and leadership in the re-establishment of a healthy and growing ministry.

About my family:

God has blessed me with my wife Becky who is the finest, truest Christian I know and three adult married children who all (spouses included!) love and seek to follow Jesus.

What is my role at MHC?

My role at MHC is to serve as the main Bible teaching pastor, to cast vision for the congregation and to lead the Board of Elders and church staff.

What is the best part of my role?

The best part of my ministry role for me personally is preparing and sharing the life enhancing truths of God's Word as I seek to help people to follow Jesus.

What is my favorite place on earth?

My favorite place on earth is Hawaii on vacation.

What makes me laugh?

I'm not a huge "Did you hear the one about the duck that walked into a bar..." sort of joke guy, but I do love to laugh at all the crazy things that seem to happen in life everyday.

What makes me cry?

Don Swaim's (Co-Director of Community Life Ministries at MHC) jokes make me cry.
