Worship Ministry

The MHC Worship Ministry exists to help people everywhere become fully devoted worshipers of Jesus Christ. In Matthew 16, Jesus Christ asked His followers one crucial question, "Who do you say that I am?"  One follower, named Peter, responded "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."  Peter worshiped Jesus Christ by proclaiming the truth about Jesus, directly to Jesus. Each Sunday we sing songs of truth directly to God as a congregation. The songs we sing proclaim God's greatness, express our thankfulness and reflect our joy in Him. The best part is that our audience is the Almighty God, the maker of heaven and earth, our gracious Savior. In addition to our weekly music we worship through the dramatic arts. We produce full-scale dramatic productions that point straight to God Himself.

Leading God's people in worship is a humbling honor for the many members of the worship ministry. We are always seeking volunteers to serve God in a variety of ways. For instance, we are regularly looking for more instrumentalists, vocalists, worship leaders, sound techs, lighting techs, computer operators, graphic artists, ushers, greeters, song writers, actors, directors, script writers, video editors, makeup artists, seamstresses, set designers and builders.
